Councilman IU-Greens in Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, said today that the report of the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) which reveals that the city is "bad" for cyclists "strip down the paripés" of the Councillor for the Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, and the mayor, Miguel Angel House.
Tornel has said that two separate municipal officials have been engaged in international forums to proclaim the "goodness" of the policies of the government team in relation to the bike, and has warned that with the above report "there are no excuses" for " much they want to cheat ".
"A Chamber Martinez-Cache and lack connection with reality", has held the mayor, who also criticized the City Council based its cycling policy in the rental, when this, in their view, only a point within the comprehensive project that would have to get going.
Tornel Murcia has ensured that bicycle paths are "not functional" or practices, and maintenance "leaves much to be desired" because many are firmly down and the signage is poor, while denounced the "no connectivity" of downtown.
