The "Workshop study methods marine ecology and environmental assessment", held in the town Ibiza's San Antonio Abad from 12 to 14 September, closing the thirtieth edition of the Sea International University, the summer courses organized by the University of Murcia since 1984.
The activity seeks to discuss, practice methodologies used in environmental and ecological studies of coastal ecosystems, and has an applied nature, with placements in the sea for the direct study of the fauna and flora of Ibiza.
The course will present techniques for sampling the benthic communities Ibiza, propose practical cases of environmental evolution in private business and administration, and attempt to disseminate new environmental valuation techniques of marine communities.
The activity is directed by Arnaldo Marín Aitor Atucha, has a duration of 25 hours, and who are enrolled in it will be entitled to 2.5 free credits or 1 ECTS-CRAU.
