Punctual to his appointment, the Virgin of Fuensanta left at 15:30 in the Sanctuary ALGEZARES to undertake the pilgrimage to the city of Murcia.
Accompanied by the popular fervor, the "Morenica" has traveled the 10 miles between his sanctuary accompanied by thousands of Murcia of all ages.
Just after 19:30 pm, the patron saint of the city of Murcia came to the parish church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen which was received by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, accompanied by the Canons of the Cathedral.
They also hoped the civil and military authorities and the representatives of the parties.
From the Barrio del Carmen, the patron saint of Murcia has taken off again to reach the SI Cathedral, stopping only for a moment in front of the Virgin of the hazards.
Once in the Cathedral, Bishop Lorca Planes Murcia congratulated for his devotion to the Mother of God and reminded all present the call that the Holy Father has made to the Universal Church for a day of fasting and prayer this Saturday.
"I encourage all of you to go to your parish or you come at 19:30 am to the Cathedral where we celebrate the Eucharist to pray for peace in Syria and the whole world."
The Virgin of the Fuensanta remain in the SI Cathedral until next September 17, the day he will return back to its sanctuary.
