The IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today criticized the "improvisation" of the government team in the proceedings relating to the settlement of sidewalks and roads in the districts of the municipality.
Tornel said that after years without making any investment in this area, Councilman José Arce popular now announces plan three million euros with which "tries to conceal the abandonment of many areas" of Murcia.
In his view, "rather than perform a periodic maintenance that optimizes the resources, the government team announces big plans shock when it is no longer possible to disguise the situation."
He announced that IU-Greens request all information in the next Full Council so check the definition of the plan and its goals.
He recalled that his group has made numerous proposals for action in parishes, both in plenary municipal and municipal boards affected, but "have been consistently rejected."
In addition, the mayor believes that the systematic use of jobs claim by the City to lead each project shows little sensitivity to the situation of high rates of unemployment in the municipality.
"The tragedy of unemployment can not be displayed as a backdrop to register medals, and less without the government team to take responsibility for a bad economic planning," he qualified.
