National Police agents have carried out an operation in which three plantations were dismantled growing marijuana and arrested five people, residents of Murcia and in the villages of Guadalupe and Bacons Bridge, for the cultivation and distribution of marijuana in their homes.
The investigation began when agents learned of the existence of several marijuana distribution points in different homes in Murcia and districts.
The first investigation led investigators conducted to verify that the drug, once cultivated and processed, distributed in their own homes.
After a series of negotiations, the police found out the identity of the inhabitants of the houses and found that they were drug dealers.
After these events, between 8 and 20 August were three police operations, proceeding to record three households located in Murcia Capital, Guadalupe and Bacons Bridge as a result of whom were arrested the occupants thereof, five men of Spanish nationality, aged between 21 and 30 years of age.
In the records held in the three houses, we were seized 651 mature plants and 1760 grams of marijuana, ready for sale, the facilities were prepared with materials and tools such as crop bulbs high power consumption of automatic irrigation systems , exhaust fans with filters for odors, air conditioners to reduce the temperature caused by the lamps and other electric.
The detainees are charged with a crime against public health, becoming available for trial courts Guard of Murcia.
The operation was conducted by officers from the Police Headquarters of the Region of Murcia, Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police.
