The Department of Urban Quality and Infraestructruras, who runs Ana Martínez Vidal, has installed vinyl with images of Murcia and the cuisine in lots and unused buildings of the Plaza de las Flores and Jimenez Street Baeza.
With this initiative, which has the support of the Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise, is to beautify the downtown environment, as was done in historical streets as Tatters, Jabonerías, Serrano Palace and Calderón de la Barca.
In the case of the square of Flowers images show typical meal century as sailors, meat pies and vegetables from the garden, as well as landscapes of the municipality.
The Department is working to improve the image of the city and have already taken action as graffiti removal, placement of planters, lighting cleaning and recovery of cobblestone streets and plazas, among many others.
