The Minister of Industry, today visited Enterprise and Innovation Group facilities in Sangonera la Seca Disfrimur and met with its leaders, to learn the latest developments that have incorporated this company dedicated to transportation, logistics and distribution.
José Ballesta stressed "is an exemplary company, avant-garde, which has made a firm commitment to innovation and applied research into the production process."
So Disfrimur has participated in the project 'Cold Road', funded by the Fifth Framework Programme for R & D of the European Union, aimed at promoting integrated and innovative solutions to improve quality control, traceability and efficiency in the refrigerated transport management in Europe, for which we have used mobile communications.
Also, the Minister said it is "a family business initiative that applies the latest developments in the transport sector", it has been the first company in the region that has built vehicles powered by compressed natural gas fleet.
It also has an extensive network of filling stations supplying natural gas transportation fleets both public and private vehicles.
José Ballesta praised that it is a company that "has generated employment in times of crisis."
Disfrimur The group employs more than 850 employees and an extensive fleet of over 500 refrigerated vehicles.
The main goods transported are related to the food sector.
