UCAM athletes performed a great performance during Spain Athletics Championships held in Alcobendas last weekend.
Miguel Angel Lopez, who besides being an athlete is also University student CAFD, became champion of the mode of 10 km march, marking the best record this year's world.
Furthermore, Borja Vivas climbed to the top of the podium in the shot put and Jonay Jordan finished second Decathlon test.
The large representation of athletes from the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia during this weekend competed in Spain Athletics Championships held in Alcobendas, returns home with a good taste.
Miguel Angel Lopez, athlete and student of Physical Activity Sciences and Sports of the UCAM, was proclaimed champion Spain 10 km march with a time of 39:07.58, the best in the world this year in this mode and also , is the second historical record of proof in our country, surpassed only by Paquillo Fernandez in 2008.
In addition to the success achieved by the athlete of Llano de Brujas, Borja Vivas, also student athlete and UCAM, became the new Champion of Spain shot put, to take the ball to almost the 19'92.
