Murcia City Council has approved the works for the construction of access for the new school Our Lady of Sorrows in El Raal.
This is a new school being built by the Education Department in the city, with 18 elementary and primary units, with dining, fitness center and an investment of more than 3 million.
The City Council, which approved the contract documents for procurement of works and services access the school will be responsible for expanding the Macanás sidewalk, and the construction of two lanes, one in each direction, 3 , 5 meters wide, two six-foot sidewalks on each side of the roads, and a wall on the left road curb, to ensure that this road is totally secure.
Furthermore, it will enable a space for cars to stop and bus parking, as explained Councilman Works and Community Services, José Arce.
The City will also undertake the provision of services (sanitation, lighting, etc.) in the school and the installation of traffic lights.
The planned investment by the city in these works is 242,000 euros, and the execution time of two months.
