San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia and the Professional Football League (LFP) today signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of establishing a broad framework of cooperation for the development, promotion, growth and development of activities, materials and projects of common interest and competence in the field of sport and Olympism.
Notably, the agreement was signed by the president of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, and the president of the LFP, Javier Thebes.
The agreement also contemplates concrete actions such as continuing education, professional and university specializing in sports management, collaboration in research in the area of ​​Sports, scientific exchanges, symposia and specialized cycles, supporting the dissemination of knowledge , exchange of information and advice, or practices of the UCAM students in the LFP.
UCAM President Jose Luis Mendoza, has highlighted the bond between the two institutions in terms of values ​​and sports training.
It has also indicated that "collaborate in the teaching of sports medicine, research and prevention", and has advanced to "establish agreements in Spanish sport of LFP hand".
For his part, Javier Thebes said that "education is a key value for the LFP and by the UCAM going to be entrepreneurs in this challenge, also in the formation of the players" and added that "the LFP wants to convey knowledge and values, and that the quality and UCAM has a very important values ​​that are definitely going to share. "
The ceremony was also attended by the Director of Sports Activities Service UCAM, Paul Rosillo, and the Dean of the Faculty of the university CAFD Murcia, Antonio Sanchez Pato.
