The Federation of Associations of Songs and Dances of Spain (FACYDE) has brought to light the book "Traditional Clothing in Spain", presented this morning by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, 46 in the context of the International Folklore Festival in the Mediterranean .
Also attended the ceremony FACYDE president, José Serrano, Councillor for Culture, Rafael Gomez and festival director, Manuel Fernández-Delgado.
This is a collection of costumes, along with their accessories and jewelery, which form an essential part of cultural heritage and give an idea of ​​the magnificent wealth of popular clothing in Spain.
The publication, which includes texts by Rafael Romero Cardenas-writer and folklorist, VP FACYDE-and photographs of Manuel Fernandez Cuevas, reflects the tradition they cherish Spanish regional costumes and is destined to become a reference for researchers and lovers of folklore .
The work to discover the heritage of the different civilizations that passed through Spain over the story about the costume, dresses analyzing each region.
