The University of Murcia has signed an agreement with Dr. Pedro Luis Ripoll and Mariano de Prado, whereby the famed orthopedic collaborate in the training of students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences San Javier.
The agreement involves the practices of the degree courses in Science of Physical Activity and Sport in service units of the doctors and the development of additional training to facilitate the specialization of students of the Faculty.
The agreement also establishes channels for the implementation of other advisory activities, research, training and scientific dissemination, mainly in the field of sports medicine.
During the signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Senate, the Ripoll and De Prado doctors have said that it is an "honor" to work with the University of Murcia - "outside our borders, the institution of the region's most prestigious" have said, and they want to "give back a fraction of what he has given us."
In turn, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, and Dean of the Faculty, Miguel Lopez Bachero, have referred to the prestige of the signatories, nationally and internationally renowned in the world of sports medicine, especially in surgery of the knee and foot.
