These data are part of the research figures from the institution in 2012, which has made public today the Research and Internationalisation, directed by Professor Gaspar Ros, in a ceremony held in the building of convalescence.
Gaspar Ros has highlighted the continuing upward character of the University publications in the database ISI WEB OF KNOWLEDGE, accessed by scientists around the world, which is up from 1,005 in 2011-1187 published in 2012.
The Vice Chancellor also highlighted the increasing membership of research groups, which in 2011 had 3,651 researchers per 3,831 last year.
Yes has decreased in 2012 the number of hired predoctoral fellows and, although increased contracted postdoctoral researchers, thus breaking the downward trend of recent years.
The internationalization of the University of Murcia is reflected in the increase in existing international projects since 2009, with an increase in 2012 of 14% over the previous year, while regional and national projects on a downward trend since 2009 that the Vice Chancellor has been attributed to the economic context.
