Township 300 students participating this month in the summer camps offered by the Department of Education for children from 3rd to 6th grade in Nerpio, San Pedro del Pinatar and El Valle.
Education Councilwoman Maria Dolores Sanchez, has come this morning to dismiss the first children who start their holiday in Nerpio today and El Valle.
The main objective of this activity is to give children alternatives to leisure and recreation that encourage personal development and given to families who request supplemental educational service in school break periods.
The camps promote awareness and respect for our natural and cultural heritage, while providing opportunities for personal relationship developing attitudes of cooperation, solidarity and responsibility.
Children perform workshops, excursions, sports activities, daily baths, games, nature trails, etc..
In a way that enhances the enjoyment and respect for the natural heritage.
The environmental awareness activities and workshops interspersed with puzzle games.
All include travel, accommodation, full board, monitors, and insurance activities.
The camps that are to be performed:
- Still active in El Valle.
One week stay in the youth hostel in El Valle (Carrascoy-Regional Park El Valle) equipped with dormitories with bunk beds, toilets, multipurpose room, kitchen, swimming pool and sports courts (tennis, indoor football, basketball. ..).
Children reside seven days (six nights) in this center to conduct excursions (equestrian center, recovery center wildlife, forest nursery ....) hiking, orienteering, swimming in the pool, keychains and juggling workshop, workshop theater and social evenings.
It is intended for students in 3rd and 4th Primary (in two groups of 50), in two shifts, from 2 to July 8, and 9 through July 15.
- Multiaventura Nerpio (Albacete).
Stay for a week at the Las Nogueras Nerpio (Albacete) in a fenced and surrounded by greenery, where the lodge, heated pool and adventure playground.
The students reside seven days (six nights) in this center to conduct adventure activities (climbing wall, aerial park ......), daily bath in pool, Nerpio tour, hiking, visiting the cave paintings, olympiad, workshops recycling and archeology, games: trampolines, roller inflatable balloon war and social evenings.
It is intended for students in the 5th and 6th grade (in two groups of 50), in two shifts, from 2 to July 8, and 16 to 22 July.
- Sea and sports on the Mar Menor.
Stay for a week at the Castelar residence, located in San Pedro del Pinatar, with area of ​​residence (bunk beds, kitchen, meeting .....), sports courts and swimming pool.
It is adjacent to the protected area Wetlands and Salinas del Mar Menor, high ecological interest.
Participants will conduct water activities in Lo Pagan Nautical Base: sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayak and inflatable boat, sports activities on their own equipment and at the Sports of San Javier, tour Calblanque, Regatta and Aquatic Olympics , introduction to diving with snorkel and goggles, first aid workshop and evening gatherings.
It is intended for students in the 5th and 6th grade, 50 seats in the shift from 9 to July 15, and 3rd and 4th Primary, 50 seats in the shift from 16 to 22 July.
