The Full Council of Murcia this morning unanimously approved a motion submitted by the municipal group PP, alternative to the one presented by the Socialist Party's local group on the Tax Ordinance, in which highlights the concern of the Corporation Municipal City of Murcia with unfavorable socio-economic circumstances of the people most affected by the economic crisis transient situation.
A situation that takes into account not only for obtaining and maintaining tax benefits, but for the extension to other cases in which is required to keep abreast of debts to the municipal treasury, through the application of terms and the regularization socio-economic considerations in granting deferrals and installment payment.
The resolutions unanimously adopted and approved were as follows:
- Amend Article 45 3.1.
and 3.2 of the overall management ordinance, collection and inspection of local taxes in the sense of expanding general grant periods and installment payment deferrals.
- Adjust the exceptional circumstances for granting postponements and splits for longer periods than the overall eligibility periods, contemplating unemployment or income below the Minimum Balance Interprofessional or circumstances where there is disproportion between the amount of debt and income arising from the exercise of business and professional.
With these agreements, pointed the Councillor for Economy and Finance, "still in the line of work that is being carried out by the government team to provide more and better aid to people who are affected by the crisis."
