Fathers, mothers and other relatives of users Espinardo Occupational Center are locked in the building of the Ministry of Finance, in Murcia, from 12.00 am today in protest against the closure.

This event was organized in order to report that after the closure of the center there is no reason to improve the conditions and users who currently enjoy the property, but economic interests protected by the policy of cutting everyday and that is exercised in the Region of Murcia.

The families complained that they have been given reason to justify the closure of the center and the relocation of their disabled family members, and that in the only meeting with the Manager of the IMAS, he alleged the existence of a technical report on the state of facilities as the only reason for the closure and transfer, but which always refused to show the report.

Later, families, individually, have received phone calls the next day to go to IMAS, in denouncing a process they feel "coerced and distressed" as they believe that they can force a decision not I should not convince them, they do not know the real causes of this process and have taken into account the serious consequences that this decision will have for disabled people living in the Centre.
