The Municipal Tax Agency makes use of new technologies to facilitate the procedures for citizens, reduce costs and avoid unnecessary travel.
The Mayor has signed an agreement this morning, a pioneer in Spain, with the Dean of the College of Notaries of Murcia, Pedro Martinez Pertusa.
The agreement affects goodwill payment patterns and changes in IBI tax, garbage or fords, but also opens the possibility of extending the utility companies for electricity, water, or gas.
Murcia Taxpayers may save paperwork and unnecessary trips to meet tax obligations, especially those related to the sale or transfer of homes.
The aim is to promote measures to reduce management costs and facilitate compliance with tax obligations of citizens, within the Municipal Agency's effort to improve tax efficiency and effectiveness in its dealings with taxpayers.
Specifically, will now be possible to concentrate on a single management all procedures and operations related to the sale of a property, putting an end to the inconvenience entailed far these operations to meet the payment of taxes or changes of ownership in the tax rolls.
Thus, all procedures can be completed in the act of signing the deed before the notary.
The measure will be possible through the use of new technologies and the commitment of the City to advance its transformation into e-government, generalizing the use of online tools and simplifying administrative procedures to the maximum.
The measure will be possible under the collaboration agreement signed this morning the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, and the Dean of the College of Notaries of Murcia, Pedro Martinez Pertusa, with the presence of the Councillor of Economy and Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, and the director of the Municipal Tax Agency, embodies Lopez.

- Change of ownership in the IBI
- Self-assessment of Goodwill
- Getting income documents outstanding debts
- Change of ownership of the receipt of the waste collection rate
- Change of ownership of the receipt of the vehicle entry fee (ford)
- Processing of additions, deletions or modifications to all affected tax rolls legal transactions reported
Furthermore, it opens the door to expand efforts to undertakings providing services related to housing (electricity, water, gas, etc..) Whenever citizens request.
