The museums of the city of Murcia prepare, once again, a wide and varied range of activities for young and old can enjoy the culture in summer.
The Museum Ramon Gaya, the City Museum, the Museum of Science and Water and Space Río_Caballerizas Mills have about twenty different activities to enjoy the museums during the summer months.
Ramón Gaya
The exhibition "Picasso Gaya and" displays 15 paintings in which you can check the admiration felt by Pablo Picasso Gaya.
Tributes to various works of the brilliant painter and Cubism, made between 1948 and 2001.
The exhibition can be seen until October 7.

Various paintings from private and public collections of the work of Ramón Gaya can be seen in the various rooms of the Museum:

Permanent Collection
In the permanent collection can see paintings by Ramón Gaya throughout his life, as well as those who stay in the rooms devoted to Velazquez, Carpaccio and landscape, and those of his friends Luis Garay, Pedro Flores, Christopher Hall Joaquin, Darsie Japp, Tryon and John Wyndham Bonafé.
Painting Workshop
Through this workshop, students will analyze the paintings of Ramón Gaya, know the various techniques of the painter and made interpretations of various works from the Museum's collection.
From 1 to July 5.
Hours 11-13 hours.
Entry fee: 15 euros.
Maximum number of students: 20.
Ages 7 to 11 years
Paintwork, color and creativity
Practical workshop painting that encourages free and creative ability and creative personality and inventiveness of children, helping them to their individual development in conflict resolution and organization of ideas.
Workshop for children taught by Maria Dolores Esparza Sanchez.
From 8 to 12 July.

Regional dances Workshop
On the occasion of the 46th edition of the International Folklore Festival in the Mediterranean, will be a workshop of regional dances, with the goal of restoring and maintaining the traditional dances of the Region of Murcia.
Taught by Pilar Montesinos Belando, instructor Francisco Salzillo Group of Murcia.
From 15 to 19 July.

Music to see at the Museum
Once again, the music starts up again in the Museum Ramon Gaya.
This year we will show the great works of Giuseppe Verdi to mark the bicentenary of his birth.

MILLS RIVER
Creativity Workshop and stories
The workshop has a content of 10% theory and 90% practical.
The last day will be a public meeting with the results of the workshop.
Taught by: Juan Pedro Romera.
Days: Wednesday 26, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 June 2013.
Hours: 17-20 hours.
It is aimed at teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, instructors and anyone who wishes to expand their knowledge in the field of education and self-knowledge.
Preference will be people working in the municipality of Murcia.
Number of participants: 10 minimum, 15 maximum.
Workshop: An arty mill
The kids are going to think, to write, to play and paint.
