Time is agreeing with the view taken by the Socialist Group in relation to the project of rehabilitation of the district of La Paz should have been led by public initiative from the beginning.
"We have always maintained that the regeneration of the district of La Paz should be in the hands of the government and so we continue to defend," said the mayor Mar Rosa.
In this sense, the Socialist councilor recalls that in the full year 2009, which was approved definitively the special plan for the rehabilitation of the district, the Socialist Group and reported that he had given the green light to a project that did not provide any warranty no financial commitment if he failed the private investor.
This has happened and now that the traces of the real estate boom and speculation have returned to reality regrets the PSOE mayor-we find more unknowns and questions to add to a project, as well as impractical, was opaque and murky from the start.
In spite of everything-goes Mar Rosa-what is clear is that the residents of La Paz deserve a better neighborhood, decent housing and improved facilities and services.
"We advocate a new neighborhood for families of La Paz and to the citizens of Murcia, but done in a transparent manner, with a process led by the public administrations, through basically public management".
The PSOE mayor has had several meetings with residents of La Paz that have moved their concern about the situation in which the project is located.
