Councillor for Employment, Trade and Business, José María Tortosa, participated this morning in a conference aimed at empreas and business organizations in order to incenitvar conducting youth labor practices in companies in the municipality, and to know the procedure to follow.
It aims to offer young people between 18 and 25, who are unemployed, with formal qualifications who lack work experience, the opportunity to make contact with the labor market, improving their employability and completing their training.
The city of Murcia and the Regional Employment Service (SEF) signed an agreement to promote such practices and disseminate information.
The selection of candidates is done by the SEF and the company which will carry out the practice.
The youth will receive a grant to support a minimum amount of 80% of IPREM, and will be discharged from Social Security.
Labor practices pose no employment relationship between the company and the young.
