The Department of Equality Policy and Development Cooperation and the NGO Blue in Action this morning presented the documentary 'integration in the classroom, Education for life' in the school Santa Maria de La Paz (Jesuitinas).
It is an activity that aims to promote values ​​such as tolerance, solidarity and respect among students.
Councilwoman Alicia Barquero stressed that in audiovisual production analyzes the existing tolerance in classrooms among Spanish children and others from different countries, serving to convey that we are all equal even though there are children of many nationalities, cultures and religions.
With respect all can enroll in school optimally and be fully integrated.
In the documentary 'integration in the classroom, Education for life' intervened schoolchildren themselves, teachers, parents of students and psychologists, counselors.
The material will be delivered to schools in the municipality to serve as an educational tool.
This activity is part of the project 'Educating in development', of the Department of Development Cooperation through each month of the year we organize events, exhibitions, conferences, documentaries, educational and awareness lectures, etc., in the presence NGOs and taking as its theme days indicated and the Millennium Development Goals.
