A total of 53 people have learned to make pies in a free workshop offered by the Department of Employment, Trade and Company, directed by José María Tortosa, in order to promote the cuisine Murcia.
There are seven mini-workshops four hours each, in which they learn the different steps to make meat pies, from making the dough to prepare the filling, and tricks for perfect cooking.
The classes have been directed by the master baker and AREPA Association President of Murcia, Juan Antonio Cano.
The courses have been conducted at the Centre for Training and Employment Initiatives of El Palmar.
Participants in the sessions have produced their own meat pies, all have been cooked and tasted.
