While, according to data from the IEA, the leading brands in the first five months of the year on mopeds and motorcycles are used as in previous months, Yamaha - sales leader also on mopeds-segment, Honda - also leader in the tourism-, Piaggio - who also leads sales in the scooter segment, and Suzuki.
The average price falls in most of the regions
With regard to the Autonomous Communities, in May only Canary Islands (+0.2%), Baleares (+0.1%) and Castilla y Leon (+0.1%) show slight increases in the price of jet time from the previous month.
The other regions experienced declines and the sharpest declines in the average price of used motorcycles are registered in Cantabria (-5%), La Rioja (-4.4%) and Aragon (-3.6%).
As for prices, Catalonia (€ 3,565), La Rioja (€ 3,601), Navarra (€ 3606) and Castilla y León (€ 3,725) communities that record an average price of second-hand bike lower in the month May.
By contrast, the Canary Islands (€ 4492), Valencia (€ 4,467), Murcia (€ 4,396) and the Balearic Islands (€ 4380) are those that reflect a higher price for used bike.
