The hamlet of Guadalupe is preparing to welcome a new LopeFolk Festival.
This will retrieve a festival veteran who had ceased to be produced due to the economic crisis.
This year 2013 and organized by Surefolk Cultural Activities, the festival returns with performances of folk, flamenco fusion band of traditional music and other activities.
The Lupefolk festival, will be held on June 14 with the following program:
- Round bars with the Gang of Cañada de la Cruz.
- Performance by folk Malvariche
- Performance of Joseph A.
Aarnoutse & Osvaldo Jorge
- DJ EU, world music.
All activities are free.
For Malvariche concert, will be removed in E Auditorium invitation (Information 968 89 92 01) to fill seats.
Presenting this invitation Fstival bar, the organization will award the top carrier with a ham and a glass of wine.
The bar will also serving drinks and sandwiches.
The organization reserves the right to modify or cancel these acts.
Gang of Cañada de la Cruz.
Cañada de la Cruz is a lovely village in the Murcia region situated at the foot of the highest peak in the region, Revolcadores.
From those high land comes the Gang Animeros of the Immaculate Conception.
This traditional group is made entirely by about 20 members of all ages.
Like other teams in the region, the animeros of Cañada de la Cruz are true to their cuadrillero ritual throughout the year, holding the wake of cheer for the people at Christmas, masses of joy and cock, balls Easter also souls, and for the rest of the year, participation in meetings and processions gangs like the Rogation.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the creation of the group, Malvariche just released his fourth album, entitled 25 YEARS ARE NOTHING.
