The Municipal Center Strut yesterday dismissed the exhibition 'People's History', a journey through the history of neighborhoods and districts of Murcia which desataca life of women who have broken stereotypes that have culturally or socially prominent, and have not been recognized because their work has been silenced.
In this project collaborated Women Centres and Social Centres for the Elderly and is part of the Municipal Plan of Equality.
The associations have participated in this initiative include the Center for Women and Social Centre for the Elderly of the strut and Santa Eulalia, San Juan and Central New Javalí Women and San Antolin.
With the information gathered panels have been made to the history of women.
Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Waterman, who has attended the closing of the show, highlighted the important research work of the residents of the strut that have been collecting pictures, interviews have been conducted and have sought documents.
In the case of the strut, as well as history of the village, it stands to Antonia Lopez Martinez and Margarita Martinez Lopez, who were midwives and really helped his people with his knowledge.
This exhibition can be visited at different districts and neighborhoods.
