The Councillor for Urban Quality, Ana Martínez Vidal has remained a briefing with opposition political groups, prior to approval by the Governing Board of the Annex to the Ordinance Public Highway Occupancy (Beautification Plan Historic Terraces) , which came into effect this June.
All political groups unanimously supported this initiative and praised the work that has been done to achieve the consensus of the 42 hoteliers in the most emblematic areas of the capital.
Vidal Martinez will meet next week with the Presidents of District neighborhoods involved, Isabel Monreal and Galindo Angeles, as well as president of the Neighborhood Associations of Murcia, José Luis Marco, to inform them of the details of the Plan.
With this new project to beautify the terraces in protected environments is to not only give the image quality hospitality benefits both establishments, but also promote tourism and beautify the environments listed as a Cultural.
The councilor explained that this is a minimum project agreed with the hoteliers in these areas, through which requirements are established to standardize the image of the shaded area elements.
The investment will be fully subsidized by the city to encourage the sector, by reducing the rate of annual public thoroughfare.
The chefs have valued highly as an investment because it is subsidized by the city, by which those standards are set common to all affected premises.
In this way not only the heterogeneity disappears, but uncertainties are avoided when investing in awnings and furniture for future premises.
