The Department of Environment, led Adela Martinez-Cache, has organized an intensive week of activities dedicated to raise awareness of the need to protect our environment, on the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day, which is celebrated today , with the slogan 'Think, eat and save'.
From Monday to Saturday, will open the information booth in the Plaza de Santa Domingo in 10-14 hours and 17-21 hours.
This morning contest prizes for the municipal school of World Environment Day, and will be an exhibition of student work.
Awards are also given for GER, Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change: Children's Drawing Contest: The Bicycle.
This afternoon, Basabé street, will be held the Great Game of the Goose Recycling, from 17.30 to 20.30.
Furthermore, after 18 hours in San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) will be held on First Ever Univesitario of Advertising and Public Relations: Smart Cities and Smart Spaces, which involved the Environment Councillor within the I Contest Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, organized by the university.
Also today has opened the deadline to apply one of 50 municipal long bike rental (1 year) coming available to citizens.
Bikes are awarded in order of arrival of registration.
To get them you have to send an email to info@oficinabicicletamurcia.com and send the following information:
- Full Name, No. of your ID, phone contact, email address and date of birth.
- Subject: Request Public bike rental for one year.
This application will not be valid unless all fields are complete.
Only you can rent a bicycle per person.
The activities will continue tomorrow.
From 17.30 to 20.30, in Santo Domingo, will be an exhibition and promotion of green products, with the collaboration of contractors Leisure Gardens.
On Friday, in the same place, there will be recycling workshop for the whole family, from 17.30 to 20.30, to promote a more sustainable leisure and respectful of the environment.
On Saturday, at 20 am, is scheduled a storyteller to 'eat well, care for the environment'.
Throughout the week, the stand of the Environment, will take place collecting plastic caps for the benefit of the Association AEFAT (Spanish Association Family Ataxia Telangiectasia), and used mobile for Angelman Syndrome Association.
