Eight young artists represent Murcia town at the XV International Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, to be held from June 6 to July 7 in Ancona (Italy).
The Biennial is an encounter between young artists reinforces the idea that young people get through art and creative ways to establish a permanent cultural and artistic dialogue between the countries of Europe, the Mediterranean basin and Eastern.
It is a means of building the European Union, and a form of production and innovation of cultural products.
Murcia Representatives of the contest have been awarded Creajoven city, the Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism, in the categories of music, visual arts and film.
The participants are:
-The band Neon Lights (winner Creajoven 2012)
-In the form of Visual Arts: Juan Lopez Santacruz (winner in 2008 Creajoven of Photography and Visual Arts 2009) and Juan Angel Requena Poveda (awarded Creajoven of Photography 2012)
-In the discipline of Film: Ricardo Ruiz Ibáñez (awarded Creajoven of Short 2012).
These young people have the opportunity to interact with more than 250 artists from 27 different countries, exhibit their work, made public, performing live, contacting professionals, included in a catalog of international spread and participate in meetings with renowned international artists .
In Spain have been selected artists from the cities of Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Seville, Malaga, Valencia, Salamanca and Murcia, Murcia with Malaga being the largest delegation with a total of 8 artists respectively.
The Biennale, which celebrates its fifteenth edition was held earlier in Barcelona, ​​Thessaloniki, Bologna, Marseille, Valencia, Lisbon, Turin, Rome, Sarajevo, Athens, Naples, Bari, Skopje and Thessalonica.
