The University of Murcia has published a book containing the texts that winners of the seven editions have been held Short Story Contest-Mall Thader.
Throughout his lifetime, the competition, which there have been more than 1,000 stories, is used to provide financial assistance to students in the University of Murcia participating in the Erasmus program.
In the edition of this year, as new, as unveiled during the presentation of the book collections, held at the headquarters of the Senate, the call is extended to all students of the University of Murcia recipients of a scholarship from any of the international mobility programs.
The stories-original, unpublished and unsigned or sign-authorship show must be submitted within a period ending on 14 June.
They also have to be stories about the early days of stay in a different place.
Also assess the setting of the story in one of the countries participating in the program and the use of their history and culture.
Another innovation is to be delivered up to five awards, which the CC Thader allocate a total of 12,000 euros.
The head of the International Relations of the University, Matias Balibrea, outlined during the presentation ceremony of the contest is to promote economic support both mobility and literary activity.
The director of the DC Thader, Nerea Fernández, said the sponsorship of this award is part of the center's social commitment to education and culture.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, closed the event by thanking Thader "everything being done by the University of Murcia and its students, who are the reason for the institution."
