The University Hospital of Integral Vision (CUVI), University of Murcia has organized on Saturday, the 25th, at their facilities, nocturnal orthokeratology course to train professionals in the process known as adaptation to ortok lenses.
These lenses, which eliminate myopia and astigmatism, allowing the patient to see clearly and comfortably all day.
This technique also influences the development of myopia, which has brought a revolution in the field of vision to glimpse the eradication of this defect in the not too distant future.
The course will be taught by teachers Alcon Diego Lopez, University of Murcia, and Carracedo Gonzalo Rodriguez of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Contactology section of CUVI pioneered the adaptation of this type of lens, positioning several years as a leader in the contact lens fitting custom.
