The Romea Theatre de Murcia will host the Thursday, May 23, a tribute to Professor of Roman Law at the University of Murcia, Antonio Diaz Bautista, who died last January.
The concert "In Memoriam" by Mozart Requiem will be performed by the Symphony Orchestra and the Choir Discantus Jumilla and by Inés Olabarría (high), Eva Tenorio (soprano), Francisco J.
Sanchez (tenor) and Carlos Garcia (bass).
Antonio Diaz Bautista studied Teaching and Law at the University of Murcia and extended studies in Germany.
Shortly after finishing the race, he was appointed Assistant Civil Law, and the following year, acting assistant Roman law subject which would be responsible for four years by the absence of full professor.
He also devoted himself to research on issues of civil law, and assisted in the management of the seminary library private law.
It was in 1970 when he read his doctoral thesis, which focused on 'car leasing', which won the excellent cum laude.
Settled in his professorship, did not cease in their research, they were transformed into publications, through articles in national and international journals, and several books on Roman Law.
He also directed several doctoral theses and coordinated work on their teaching specialty.
In the personal history of Antonio Diaz Bautista can not forget his enthusiasm for music.
It was also constant presence in most of the concerts, because not in vain served as president of the Association for Music in Murcia.
