The national and international premieres have become one of the hallmarks of the Tolerance Festival Murcia Three Cultures, organized by the city of Murcia, which in recent years has been hosting the presentation of various musical works and performances specially created or prepared for the occasion.
This edition premiered two compositions: Il regret d'Arianna, created by the group and will be interpreted Suspiratio on Tuesday, May 21, at 20 and 21 hours, and Iberia original mounting Vocal Igne to be held on Wednesday May 22, also at 20 and 21 hours.
All performances will take place in the Church San Juan de Dios Museum.
Il regret d'Arianna is a full program of expressiveness and Italian poetry that combines the melodies of the madrigals and tragedies of classical Greece, evoking the atmosphere of the ancient Mediterranean.
For this, the group Suspiratio-which was created in 2002 with the intention of deepening the vocal and instrumental music of the Renaissance and Baroque, was based on compositions of the Italian Renaissance masters such as Claudio Monteverdi.
In this concert, the audience will have the opportunity to hear the cries of Princess Arianna being abandoned by Theseus, the pastor farewell revive his beloved nymph Glauco Corinna, enjoy the love songs of the madrigals and tremble with regret famous della Ninfa.
The second premiere, Iberia, is in the hands of Vocal Igne, group led by one of the best known musicologists Region: Jose Solano.
This traditional polyphony program reflects the cultural relationship-hundreds of years before Christ, held various peoples of Caucasus regions (Caucasian Iberia) and that, through the Mediterranean, came to the north and the east Iberian.
This ancient cultural relationship that shows the most obvious similarities between the aesthetics of traditional musical folklore villages such as Georgian, Corsican and Spanish Levant.
Iberia collects polyphony analogies between these three villages, for which Igne Vocal rests on the testimony and musicological and anthropological studies that exist, which open the door to a common past.
Both shows premiere of the XIV International Festival Murcia Three Cultures are free admission to fill seats.
