Murcia museums (The Museum Ramon Gaya, The Museum of Science and Water and Hydraulic Mills River Museum) add another year to the celebration of International Museum Day by celebrating over thirty different activities 13 to May 18.
A scientist, a miller, a menina and Salzillo Stroll around next Saturday, May 18, by the city to encourage people to attend the city's museums.
There will be four people, representing each of the museums of Murcia, which encourage street all day to Murcia and visitors who come to museums Murcia.
"A TOP OF MUSEUM"
Other initiatives to commemorate International Museum Day is "A Cover Museum," conducted by the city of Murcia in collaboration with Hostemur.

Different bars of the city center offering tapas for the price of 2 euros to those visiting the museums of Murcia.
The rooms in which you can sample tapas for the low price of 2 euros and cocktails for 3 euros are: Pura Cepa, Terrace Tables, Tables of the Clerk, The Churra, The Cane Spain, Andalusian Parliament, Parliament of Andalusia Plaza de las Flores, Archaeological Museum, Degusto and Point, Bodega Santiago, Bar & White, The Swains, My Bar, Taberna La Ermita, Two Jacks, The Clubbing of San Anton, Heladería Chambi, 609, Enboga, and Kennedy.
Besides the program which sees each museum, the Department of Culture has organized a photo contest winners whose work will be part of an exhibition that can be seen in Space Río_Caballerizas Mills.
The museums of the municipality are part of ICOM (International Council of Museums), which is the only international organization representing museums and museum professionals of the world.
