The University of Murcia held on Wednesday, May 15, the first Editorial Translation Meetings, which will involve the prestigious Puerto Barruetabeña translators, Daniel Cortés, Adolfo Muñoz and Pilar Ramirez.
The four have been translated into Spanish works of the "literature of bestseller".
Specifically, Puerto Barruetabeña, specializing in romantic novel, has translated the third book of the famous trilogy of erotic novel Fifty Shades, while Adolfo Muñoz translated three volumes of Harry Potter, and other early works.
Daniel Cortez is the author of picture books movies like Cars, Wall-E or Ice Age titles and franchises like Star Wars and Strawberry Shortcake, while Pilar Ramirez has translated the trilogy The Hunger Games or part of the novels of HG Wells.
The event, which will run from 16:00 to 19:00 am in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts, is organized by the Master's Degree in Editorial and open to anyone interested in the translation of books.
