The spokesman for IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today expressed his support for the claims of traditional huertanos to the "indiscriminate" IBI rise of orchards that the General Plan has described as urban.
Herguedas said that "with the adaptation of the General Plan to the Land Law was used to convert 2,520 hectares of urban rustic clearly interest tax collection."
He indicated that the orchards which gave the rating of developable "will not ever be urbanized, since this requires that several owners come together and formulate a Special Plan".
The mayor has expressed deep regret at the manifestations of the Councillor of Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, and noted that "the only one who has speculated has been the council, which has been an easy formula to increase their taxes with a simple change of color on a plane. "
At the time, the head of IU-Green was asked whether the government team is just as rigorous with owners of large sectors and especially commercial developable who have benefited from development.
"We would like to know if they are paying their taxes just as the neighbors do," said Herguedas, and therefore invited the Councillor of Finance to provide the income figures for these sectors.
