Encourage the promotion of mediation in the region of Murcia and Spain is the purpose of the conference be held by the School of Social Practice at the University of Murcia from 16 to May 18 in the auditorium of the Merced campus.

During these days will discuss the implementation of State Law on Mediation in Civil and Commercial matters and submitted the draft Mediation Observatory.

Throughout the meetings, conferences and roundtables scheduled, participants will present also the pilots that have been developed in recent years to promote mediation in the justice system, especially in the area of ​​family law, both jurisdiction in civil and commercial matters.

The vice president of Legislative Policy of the Ministry of Justice, Julio Fuentes, will deliver on Thursday, at 19:00 pm, the inaugural conference, which will talk about the regulation that will develop the Law Civil and Commercial Mediation.

The conference, which are coordinated by the director of the School of Labour Practice, Maria Paz García-Longoria, have the cooperation of the General Council of the Judiciary, the European Group of Judges for Mediation, the Conference of Universities for the Study of Mediation and Conflict Neutral Point Promotion of Mediation and Mediators Association Murcia.
