The Student Council of the University of Murcia (CEUM) has shown its commitment to the teaching strike held nationwide today against education reforms promoted by the Ministry.
The agreement of the student representatives rejected "the disproportionate increase of tuition fees applied in this course, which is preventing some students study at the time they are proposed and the way they raised."
It also states that "the economic cuts in scholarships limited to students with economic problems studies, in the case of general scholarships."

The Council concludes that "we are against the commodification of education, as all students are people, not products."
