The IU-Greens Councillor, Esther Herguedas, has demanded an explanation on the continuation of free Classrooms municipal Internet access (ALA's Y WALA's) Councilman Councilman Culture, Rafael Gomez Carrasco.
The mayor explained that these are areas in which citizenship has a free Internet connection and which also offers courses for the use and training in new information technologies and telecommunications.
Herguedas has been very concerned about the maintenance of these courses for next year as the company that manages Inforges, ends his contract next June and did not seem to have taken any steps to ensure that the service can continue the next course.
The IU-Greens councilor also believes that questioning the very existence of the ALA's and WALA's because "currently are not being replenished or repairing the equipment that is damaged or broken.
If in the future also disappears activity in these centers ensuring control over the equipment, progressive deterioration and lack of maintenance will end with these citizen service spaces ".
