Murcia is hosting the first edition of MMOD spring / summer 2013 'Watch the birdie' on 17 and 18 May.
This is a new event that will bring together personalities from the design scene fashion photography and digital.
This initiative, part of Murcia XXI Foundation, Design and Fashion Tourism, the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism of Murcia in the events planned for this year MMOD Festival, Murcia Open Design.
This initiative aims to promote and stimulate the economy through cultural tourism, performing events that deal with creative ideas, through innovation, and supporting young artists for promotion and training.
Activities will take place in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga and Space Molinos del Rio Stables, are free and consists of different spaces as 'Workshop Experience', for courses and seminars; 'UrbanBeachMarket' urban market area as a beach Belluga the Square, where young designers exhibit and sell their creations and 'Shoot', which will host photo shoots for fashion magazine Vanity and Women Today magazine.
The photos are made in a facility will be exhibited in the MMOD Festival in October 2013.
In short, two days in which young professionals Murcia and students will learn how the engine works in fashion photography, how they work with professional photographers, models, stylists, art direction, set design, lighting and post production.
The program has the presence of the following professionals: the Murcia Alberto Murta, Jose Herrera, Patricia de Gregorio and Ricardo Valero.
Murta, has developed his work for television, commercials and video clips like Jamiroguai.
He has worked as art director for a long list of companies such as Carolina Herrera, Inditex, Mango, Swarosvski, Andres Sarda, Pedro del Hierro, BMW, Tous or La Perla.
