The Socialist Group in plenary prompted the call for aid to SMEs that hire unemployed (24/04/2013)

The mayor Juan Patricio Castro defend a motion asking the local Government commissioning a convocatoira aid to SMEs that hire unemployed persons registered with the employment offices of Murcia.

This is the second initiative of the Socialist Group 5/5/5 Plan against unemployment in the town with which it could reach 450 new hires of unemployed into the labor market in a year.

The amount of such aid would be between 22,000 and 25,000 euros per worker qualified.

"Any help that you lend to small and medium enterprises is little to overcome the crisis," he insists Castro, who, in this context, that the number of unemployed in Murcia has increased by 6.6% in a year and to credit facilities for SMEs absent.

Therefore, the PSOE mayor defends this proposal for this year is to launch this call for aid by using 1 million municipal budget, an amount that could increase to 10 million euros if the remaining cash 2012, which has risen to 42.4 million euros, is intended to increase economic activity and generate employment SMEs.

Requirements

Also, Castro will consider a number of requirements for SMEs to receive these grants, among which are:

Company that aid maximum corresponds to two newly created jobs among those engaged in the food industry, renewable energy, tourism and culture sector, among others, as strategic sectors must be strengthened.

Businesses must be located in the municipality of Murcia and not over 50 workers.

The companies undertake to maintain the jobs for at least two years.

Persons hired must have a qualification preferably vocational training, graduate, master or doctor.
