The comic has been featured in this year's commemoration of World Book Day organized by the school Nebrija.
As on previous occasions, the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has not missed an appointment with the students of this school and has participated in the XV Marathon Reading, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Lola Sanchez.
The choice of comics has responded to the consideration, by the organizers, that their use enhances teaching students' creativity and encourages a love of reading through fun characters and its values.
The school Nebrija Marathon celebrates 15 years, coinciding with the celebration of World Book Day, and it involves the whole educational community center, with a special role of students.
During his visit to the center, the Mayor has shared a few minutes with the students, who in this day have participated in numerous activities in addition to reading, from crafts to various games or sports.
Also, House has seen two exhibitions, one of painting "The fruits of the garden" whose author, José Miguel Muñoz, also offer some educational talks to schoolchildren, and another photograph, organized around World Book Day.
Storytelling in libraries
Moreover, the City, through the Department of Education, has organized various activities held in the Municipal Library Network to commemorate this date.
Proposals include storytelling, music, rake and drawing lots of books.
