Already signed an agreement that will allow retirees and families with special category Bus ride free until 2016.
Councilman Traffic and Transportation, Javier Iniesta and Latbus president, José Luis Sánchez, this morning signed the agreement which guarantees the validity of social bonds for three years, with retroactive effect from January 1.
Thanks to this agreement, the concessionaire of the lines to districts will receive in 2013, 2014 and 2015 multi-year grant amounting to 8.9 million euros, which will hold the bonds, promote public transport and contribute to firm stability.
Councilman Iniesta explained that "this agreement gives stability to target set by the Mayor of the pensioners and large families do not pay to use special bus and other large families pay only 50%."
This will get that "any Murcia, resident resident, have the same rights, while supporting a broad tradition Murcia company that employs over 450 people and offer quality transportation at affordable prices."
For his part, José Luis Sánchez expressed his satisfaction for having completed "a complex negotiation that keeps the bonus policy to groups most in need of help."
As shown in the agreement, the city of Murcia is committed to pay 100% of the ticket price (1.50 euros) for retired pensioner large family or special category and 50% ($ 0.75) for general category large families traveling in the districts lines.
The titles are called Bono 100 bonus for retirees and pensioners and Bono Bono Special Large Family General Large Family.
