Retirees and large families keep their bonuses in the use of the bus until at least 2016.
The municipality and the company that manages the lines connecting the districts capital Murcia will sign an agreement that ensures that pensioners and families with special category used for free transportation between Murcia and districts.
So, despite local competition unless the management of these lines, the City Council, as part of its policy to promote urban transport and easy access to the most disadvantaged groups, fulfilling its commitment and thus remains subsidizing these tickets.
Thus this grant aims to encourage public passenger transport groups of pensioners and retirees, as well as large families and special general category, and contribute to the stability of the company.
Thus, as shown in the agreement, the City of Murcia agrees to pay 100% of the ticket price (1.50 euros) for retired pensioners and large families or special category and 50% (0.75 euros) for large families traveling in general category lines hamlets.
The titles are called Bono 100 bonus for retirees and pensioners and Bono Bono Special Large Family General Large Family.
Murcia City Council agrees to pay and multiyear grant amounting to 8.9 million euros covering the years 2013, 2014 and 2015.
