The University of Murcia has renewed the cooperation agreement it has with the IMO Group Foundation (Madrid Institute of Oncology) since 2007 for the joint execution of outreach, education and research.
The agreement includes the organization of seminars, conferences and courses, including the prestigious international master in advanced technological applications in radiation oncology.
Also includes cooperation between the two entities to further the dissemination and development of research related to radiotherapy and radiosurgery techniques and other forms of cancer treatment.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, and President of the IMO Group Foundation, José Samblás, in Convalescence signed the agreement, which has driven the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Relations and Health Sciences, Professor Manuel Vidal.
The meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Joaquín María García-are.
