After his tour of Mexico last June, which, together with anticipated Mexican musicians and some of his new songs, Daniel Cros releases its seventh album, That was then, this is now (Rosazul, 2013).
A suggestive title reflecting the continued back and forth in time manifested in songs like "nothing will ever be the same", "Forever is too long", "Pallas" or "This crazy August in the month of April" and that explains the artist, "has gradually become the heart of the new job."
Eleven new songs, of which Cros is author of the lyrics and the music that sings, plays piano, guitar and lute and in which genres as diverse as rumba, quickstep, cha cha cha or are, give support to a letter in which fresh rhyme and sense of humor combined with critical thinking, optimism and sensitivity.
The album has had the collaboration of Joan-Albert Amargós arrangers and Alfredo Reyes, Cuban musicians Yoan Sanchez, Abel Herrera "The Gypsy" and Angá "El Indio", guitarist David Torras and Brazilian singer Yara Beilinson.
The theme 'Pallas', a rumba rhythm has been chosen as the first single and video-clip.
