A hundred establishments and municipal services have the distinctive Tourist Quality Commitment Sicted that certifies that it has a manual of best practices and recognizes the quality of the products and services they offer to their customers.
Among the facilities, services and professionals who have this badge are 30 different trades, such as travel agencies, museums and interpretive centers, shops, the Convention Bureau of the City of Murcia, tour guide companies, schools of Spanish for foreigners , tour guides, hotels, OPC, s, the Auditorium and Congress Centre Victor Villegas, restaurants and taxis.
The implementation of this program is conducted through the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism.
The Governing Board today approved the membership of the City Council this Integrated Quality System for Tourist Destinations.
The city ranked seventh nationally in the number of establishments distinguished with this stamp.
Sicted is promoted by the Tourism Institute of Spain (Turespaña) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
It involves implanting a participatory model that requires businesses and tourist services adhering to commit to quality tourism.
The member companies have gone through a period of training, technical assistance visits, community workshops, working groups that develop improvement ideas for the destination and the adequacy contrasting assessments of the company / service quality standards.
Sicted offers companies the possibility of implementing a quality system, improving image management and receiving tourists from the different services it consumes.
