Tomorrow, Saturday 23 March, the City Council and the Local Energy Agency (Alem) turn off the lights of various monuments and municipal buildings from 20:30 to 21:30 for joining it to the initiative of WWF, Earth Hour.

For seven years, hundreds of millions of people around the world, businesses, governments and schools unite their voices in defense of the environment to be the most Earth Hour campaign ever organized mobilization and participation.
In 2012, more than 7,000 cities in 150 countries the lights of the main monuments and landmarks, thus supporting the WWF message "symbolic gestures can lead to large changes if we get a global commitment throughout the year."
