The fourteen neighboring dwellings Infante municipal district who participated in the course of basic DIY maintenance of buildings, of the Department of Planning and Housing, in collaboration with the Councils of Social Welfare and Health, and Employment, Trade and Company, today receive their diplomas.
Students have learned carpentry, electrical, masonry and basic household plumbing, and painting and locksmith.
The goal is to improve the training of these people to learn to care for their homes, while they gain skills to enter the labor market as a janitor or building maintenance.
They have also participated in a training module for coexistence and conflict resolution among neighbors.
The Town Planning and Housing, Juan Antonio Bernabe, stressed the readiness of the students, who in the course have worked long and said that it was a very positive experience that will be repeated soon for social housing residents of El Palmar.
The course began on January 21 and ended on March 20, with a total of 48 hours of training that have been held at the Center for Employment Training and Initiatives of El Palmar.
