The regional government has approved the donation, on behalf of the Community, of a lot located in the vicinity of a Cultural del Castillo de Santa Catalina, located on the mountain of the same name, in the municipality of Murcia.
The site, which covers an area of ​​630 square meters and is valued at 75,625 euros, is part of the archaeological site of the mountain, which is one of the most interesting sets of the Iberian period, together with its necropolis, known as' Cabecico Treasury '.
This plot was the subject of archaeological excavations in the eighties and nineties by the University of Murcia and in advance by the University of Madrid.
This is a great deal of interest for the development of the cultural aims of the Community.
Therefore, the regional government is grateful for the donation, free of charge, which was made up of six individual joint owners.
The donation has been made by Felix Ramon Romojaro Almela, Josefa Garcia Parrilla, Antonio Julio Alarcón García, María Inmaculada García Alarcón, Alarcón Enrique García and María José García Alarcón.
