The NGO organizes LatinArte this weekend a solidarity campaign to collect food and clothing aimed at the most disadvantaged.
Donations can be made at time of 9-20 hours in the stand to be placed in the Plaza de Santo Domingo.
LatinArte helps 356 adults, 118 children aged 2-8 years, and 19 babies.
The Councillor for Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, this morning to this new NGO, which was formed late last year and is composed of 55 people from the art world, the administration and the media.
This NGO organizes events and tradeshows cultural and social, occupational and guidance workshops, conferences and cultural courses, provides guidance and employment promotion.
Its aim is to help the marginalized and at risk of social exclusion, promote and disseminate the work of cultural, artistic and social, job training, culturally and artistically integrating power in society, provide specific help to the needy regardless of their situation by working directly with organizations and offer the possibility of organizations and associations have a means of communication.
LatinArte organizes training as communication, audiovisual production, voluntary return (information and document management), sewing, creating and managing puppets, dance (tango and capoeira), nutrition and educational support for children of Primary and Secondary .
In addition to the activity to be held in Santo Domingo on Saturday, March 22 LatinArte participate in a meeting at the Municipal Youth Space Ship (Bacons Bridge), and the May 1 have organized an intercultural solidarity with artists associations and companies.
